A Private Dinner in a French Château
Imagine the dining room of an 18th-century château — candlelight on silver, the silence of a property that has stood for three centuries, a table set for two in a room where the portraits of former owners watch from the walls. The wine is from the estate's own cellar. The menu has been composed by a chef who knows the produce of the region as intimately as the recipes his grandmother taught him.

Paris for Two
There is a version of Paris that belongs only to couples who know how to find it. It begins with a suite at one of the great Palaces — Le Bristol, the George V, La Réserve — and ends, several days later, with the reluctant agreement that it is time to go home.
In between: a private dawn visit to the Louvre, before the world arrives. A morning at the Marché d'Aligre, where the city shops for its Saturday lunch. An afternoon at a couture atelier, where someone has been making beautiful things by hand since before your grandparents were born. Provence & the Luberon
A bastide in the Luberon in June, when the lavender is in flower and the light is long and golden until nine in the evening. A table on a terrace above an olive grove. A bottle of rosé, cold from the cellar of a vigneron whose family has been growing on this hillside for four generations.
This is the romantic Provence — not the one in the postcards, but the one that exists in the particular stillness of a Provençal evening when the mistral has dropped and the village is quiet and the only urgency is the aperitif.

The most glamorous version of a French romantic escape begins on the water. A private yacht — crewed, intimate, entirely yours — departing from Nice, Cannes, or Saint-Tropez in the early morning, when the sea is still and the light on the Esterel cliffs turns the limestone pink.
By mid-morning you are anchored in a cove that can only be reached from the sea. By noon you are swimming in water of a blue so deep and so clear that the photographs will not be believed. By evening, the boat has moved on — to a harbour village for dinner, or simply offshore, where the lights of the Riviera shimmer on the water below a sky that has never been interrupted by a city.
